Pebble Beach Golf Links

The Golf Links is a public golf course in Pebble Beach established in 1919 and is an 18 hole golf course. It is considered to be one of the best-looking golf courses out there. In 2001, the Pebble Beach Golf Links was the first-ever public golf course to be the #1 Golf Course in the United States. 

Thus, it is among the most expensive globally, with the green fee being around 500 dollars, including the cart fee of another 40 dollars. If you aren’t a guest at the resort, you will need another 92 dollars for a caddie for a single round.

The Pebble Beach Golf Links have hosted some of the biggest tournaments in golf, including 6 U.S. Opens in 1972, 1982, 1992, 2000, 2010, and 2019, a PGA Championship in 1977, and lots of other tournaments.

Cypress Point Club

This is a private golf club established back in 1928 and is a part of Pebble Beach. The golf course consists of 18 holes, some of which are among the best in the world. From 1947 till 1990, the Cypress Point Golf Club was a part of the PGA Tour. From that point on, it was replaced by Poppy Hills. This happened because Cypress Point refused to enforce the anti-discrimination rules. 

This private golf club has only 275 members, and it is nearly impossible to get a reservation. Rumour has it that even the ex-US president John F. Kennedy was denied entry to the club’s restaurant.

But the thing by which Cypress Point is mainly known is the famous hole #16. The hole has one of the most beautiful landscapes in the world of golf. And not only that, but it requires an experienced and skilful golfer to make the 230 yards long shot over the Pacific Ocean.

Monterey Peninsula Country Club

This Country Club is located on the West Coast of America and a part of the Pebble Beach Resorts. The Monterey Peninsula Country Club was established 95 years ago in 1926 and consisted of 36 holes divided into two courses, the Dunes Course and the Shore Course. 

The designers behind Dunes Course were none other than Seth Raynor, Rees Jones, and Thomas Fazio. While the designers behind the Shore Course were Mike Strantz, Bob E.Baldock and Jack Neville.
